Palm Court Hervey Bay

The staff communicated well all the way from booking through key pickup and drop-off. Our downstairs unit was clean, spacious and well equipped, and it was a short 150m walk to the beach, with cafes, bars and shops nearby. The walls were Besser brick, and the ceiling was the old rough, sandblasted kind, though well maintained. I'm not sure what that ceiling type is called. There aren't many car spaces, so we had to wait a day for other guests to leave before we could park in our spot.

The place isn't flashy, but it's got what you need, and the beds were comfortable. For the price, it's excellent value. I once paid ten times more for a room elsewhere and was less satisfied with it than this one. It's right in the action, directly opposite the beach. The bathroom could use a fan.

The room was massive and the staff friendly. It'd be great for a small family getaway. Parking and amenities are limited, though. There was no water jug, so I couldn't chill water in the fridge during the 34 degree days I was there. Still good value and worth another visit.

The owners are such kind, lovely people. When my partner and I were in a tough spot, they did whatever they could to let us stay for as long as we needed. Amazing customer service. Five stars!
