The gardens were lovely, and it was peaceful and tranquil despite being close to all the amenities. We spent two nights in Oak Cottage for a perfect getaway. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the hosts we met were the loveliest people. We had a look at the other cottage too, and it was just as perfect. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.

The one thing I wasn’t keen on was the bed in Oak Cottage, which felt hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, it’s a lovely cottage at a reasonable price, with a well-kept garden and quiet surroundings. There’s undercover parking, coffee, tea and milk, plus a good range of cooking utensils. The decor has a very rustic, aged look.

The cottage was beautiful and very well kept, with excellent facilities. My partner and I loved the bird feeder out front. We also really liked the location, just far enough beyond Toowoomba to enjoy the Highfields scenery. It was a great escape from the city, and we’ll be back. 10/10.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the cottage was, and the arboretum right in the front yard was great. We stayed for a birding weekend, with shops very close by, including a fantastic brewery. Loved these cottages and look forward to coming back.

The gorgeous gardens, bird life and possum were lovely, and the gas fire made the cottage so cosy. It was beautifully appointed, decorated and cared for, with nice extras like chocolates, coffee and yum biscuits. I appreciated that the disabled bathroom shower was stuck in a Moon Boot 🤦🏻♀️. It was great to be able to bring our little dog, too. John & Jan were our hosts this week, and they were super professional and helpful. Absolutely delightful cottage accommodation. Thank you so much for the great hospitality 👏
