Mantra One Sandy Bay Road

There’s no restaurant on site, so you have to go out or order Uber Eats. I ordered Uber on the first night, and the Mantra information given at the start of the stay said it would be delivered to my room. It was left at reception instead. That would have been fine, but reception called to say they were closing in 8 minutes and I wouldn’t get my food unless I came down for it. That’s poor. The rooms were tidy and okay, though old, and some of the light switches seemed close to giving out.

The bedroom apartment was roomy, clean, and really comfortable, with high ceilings that made the old converted building feel airy. Check in and check out were warm, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is well placed for central Hobart, Salamanca Place, Battery Point, and the waterfront. We enjoyed our stay at Mantra One Sandy Bay Road and can only say good things to family and friends. It would be great if future renovations added some data or use points.

When we arrived for the first part of our honeymoon, we found out we’d been upgraded from the smaller suite we’d booked to one of the most popular suites. It was such a generous gesture and honestly one of the trip’s highlights. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a fun view of the city. Thank you, Mantra crew!

It’s an average hotel with large rooms. I was there for business, and reception was closed when I checked out, so I left the keys in the drop box. I booked directly on the Accor website and called the hotel for an invoice. They told me to call the Accor help desk. Getting an invoice should be easy.
