We had a superb three-bedroom apartment with excellent kitchen facilities and plenty of lounge and living space, so I’d highly recommend it for families or groups. The master had stunning views, and the servants quarters were nicely appointed, though a bit warm. It’s right in the heart of the historic waterfront. Getting in from the street was a bit of a hike, with several security doors and fobs, but maybe that’s a good thing.

The rooms were very nice, and the amenities and complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. It’s a wonderful location, though getting to the CBD meant a brisk walk.

There was plenty of room for a family in the penthouse, and the city and some water views were good. The two-bedroom apartment was affordable and close to the wharf. The huge king room my friend had was definitely the pick. Inside, though, the apartments felt a bit clinical rather than homey. The lighting was oddly dim, and I struggled to get much decent light. The second bathroom I used smelled septic-like, so I kept trying to run the water. That really brought my rating down. The apartment could also use better soundproofing, which would improve my rating.

We didn’t hire a car and found it easy to walk everywhere from this lovely spot right by the wharfs, with nice views and so many places to eat nearby. Our two-bedroom apartment was very upmarket, and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend.

The IXL penthouse was much more spacious and easy to live in than I expected, with great views and everything we needed supplied. It also felt like good value compared with the usual chain places or shoebox-sized accommodation. I was very happy with our choice.
