The capsule stay felt like a case of getting what you pay for. If central hotels weren’t so costly, I wouldn’t have needed to choose this. Anyone over 175 cm may find the space very cramped. The lack of soundproofing was noticeable, with even slightly louder movement carrying clearly. There’s no face-to-face service, only online messages. I stayed two separate nights and was sure the reading light in my first room was broken. The only reply was that its switch was on the wall panel by the bed, but it didn’t work at all. The room charging was extremely slow, which may be why some guests take their phones out to the common area. And while the entrance uses a passcode, the door stays open long enough for someone to follow another guest in, so keep an eye on your belongings. Getting in and out of a top bunk takes care. An upper luggage space was even more of a hassle with my 20 kg bag as a female traveler. I can see why some women leave their suitcases in the hallway. If you can afford somewhere better, spare yourself the discomfort.

We were made to feel welcome throughout our week here. The operator and staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel was clean and well organized, with daily cleaning. It was easy to walk to nearly all our destinations and meeting points, and there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by for meals or groceries. The capsules gave a decent amount of privacy, though storage is limited, so it suits people travelling light. There’s no cookware, but that wasn’t a big issue since we could make simple meals with the hot water provided. I’d definitely recommend it.

Right in the CBD, so it’s ideal for walking to tours. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is directly opposite, and the SkyBus also stops across the road for airport trips. It’s a good capsule hotel, though the sheets aren’t changed, which makes it less clean if you’re staying several nights.

A nice place in the city, but there was no parking, even though Booking.com said there would be. The kitchen is pretty bare, really just enough for a cuppa. There is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry, though.

The shared spaces could feel cozier, with more comfortable furniture. Reception could also be easier to reach. Some capsules need repairs, and the notice boards do too. The floors and amenity areas were dirty, and I wasn’t sure the bedding was clean. All the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the showers were empty. It would be nice to have milk in the fridge for tea and coffee.
