RACV Hobart Hotel

The location put us right in the middle of town, a short walk from the piers, Salamanca market, and loads of restaurants, parks, bars, and shops. We enjoyed the happy hour at the bar and the lounge area. Our room was clean, nicely appointed, and had a lovely water view. Breakfast was great, with plenty of gluten-free options.

The central location made exploring Hobart easy. We had a wonderful stay at RACV Hobart Hotel, with clean, comfortable, well-maintained rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Right from arrival, the staff were warm and professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The customer service was exceptional and made the visit even more enjoyable.

The room was big and roomy, and the location was perfect. Before we arrived, I got a call asking if there was anything they could do for us or a special occasion we were celebrating. I mentioned we’d recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. There was a bottle of Prosecco, two glasses, and a lovely congratulatory card waiting in our room. Fantastic accommodation. I’d highly recommend it.

The breakfast spread was small but full of quality food: amazing scrambled eggs, lovely salmon, dried fruit, bircher, and great coffee, plus more than I expected. The foyer was comfortable, with lounge suites and big chairs for afternoon drinks, and the adjoining ‘ cascade pub’ had a great vibe. The staff were super friendly and professional. Skybus is right opposite the RACV hotel, and when I arrived at 1:40, a friendly staff member explained everything perfectly. I was checked in early and even got an upgrade, which I’ve never had before. My husband had just finished the overland track, so the bath was a godsend. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were soft and fresh. The extra room was very welcome, with a washing machine and dryer for my husband’s very smelly hiking gear. We slept peacefully, found everything wonderfully convenient, and loved our comfortable stay. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for everything.
