Huskisson Beach Motel

The room had a lovely front balcony with furniture, and the twin room was spacious. It was great to sit outside. Beds were comfy, and the sheets and towels were very good quality, though smaller towels would have been enough. The bathroom was modernised, with a good shower and strong water pressure, but warm water took a long time to come through, wasting water while waiting. The aircon was quiet and very good. There was a Nespresso machine with plenty of capsules. The fly net was slightly damaged but still worked. On arrival the carpet hadn't been vacuumed properly, though it was after the first service. The lady there was lovely and helpful. Check-in and checkout were automated, and you can book a room on-screen on site. Great location and clean, but over $300 a night for two people felt expensive for a motel where you can hear the neighbours.

The location was great and the room was clean, though on the small side. Parking was tricky, and if you get a motel spot, it's best to walk so you don't lose it. I thought the price was high, especially in the off peak period.

The manager was extremely rude, and I'd warn people away from this hotel. We were travelling with friends staying elsewhere. Our youngest daughter slept at their place, but came to our room sometimes and left with us for dinner. A week after we left, the manager charged our $100 deposit, claiming too many people had used the facilities. It felt deceptive and awful to tourists. Do NOT stay here.

The location right across from the beach is great, and given that, I'd stay again. The rooms were okay, but the bathroom was tiny and very tired and needs freshening up. It was quite expensive during peak time. We had three guests and only one key, which had to be inserted for the aircon to work. I like to go walking while the others stay in, but when I went out early I had to wait until they woke up to get back in.
