Sandymount

Breakfast was good, with options served in a sunny dining room overlooking a lovely garden. We had a very pleasant night at Sandymount. The room was spotless and nicely presented, the bed was comfortable, and it was warm and cozy.

The house is nicely decorated and presented, with a lounge, living and dining areas, six guest rooms, and well-kept front and back yards. The full kitchen has everything you need. My room had the usual hotel comforts, with nice decor, a clean king bed and a spa bathroom. I could hear the people next door in their bathroom, and could clearly make out guests talking downstairs in the kitchen dining area from my bed. The TV in my room is tiny, about 20 inches, and really only good for listening to the news. I might come back in a fortnight.

For my first Airbnb stay, after usually choosing hotels, I couldn’t have found a better spot. The bedroom, ensuite and shared areas were all beautiful and clean, with modern amenities. It has everything for a great beachside break, and you can stroll to the shops and beach. The setting is still quiet and peaceful. They provided a good continental breakfast, and the owners were lovely to deal with, with useful local tips and information. We’ll definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed four times now and already want to come back. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful, and they know a lot about Inverloch and the surrounding area. The bedrooms are beautiful, comfortable and welcoming, and the house itself makes you want to linger. I highly recommend Sandy Mount, you’ll love it.
