The meals were brilliant, and Kevin, Annabel, and a lovely, cheerful young woman who served us on our last morning made the dining experience even better. Executive chef Lila gave us a really informative tour of the market garden and smokehouse, which helped explain the food. Nina had called ahead to make sure everything was arranged for our visit, then gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. Our cabin was cosy and spotless. We had a wonderful three days at Spicers Hidden Vale. Highly recommend it. Susan

It’s a bit of a drive to get there, but don’t miss it if you get the chance. I’ve been to three Spicers restaurants, and Hidden Vale is the standout. The lounge, bar, and dining room are all beautiful, the food is delicious, and the wine list is both interesting and extensive. Service was outstanding.

The farm animals are so friendly and cute, and it’s a lovely place to catch up with friends. I’m glad there’s such a gorgeous brunch spot just 10 minutes away. Great coffee and food, and Troy was a really lovely, helpful waiter. I’d happily come back just for the gf lammington 😋

The Parkrun at Hidden Vale was a real highlight for me. It’s brilliantly organised, with a fantastic course in beautiful surroundings, one of the best Parkruns around. Dining was another standout, with attentive, knowledgeable staff and great food that felt special without anyone hovering. Reception also made a strong first impression, everyone was genuinely welcoming and helpful. Spicers Hidden Vale was a memorable getaway with amazing hospitality, and I’d happily return and recommend it.

The only sad bit was checking out because we had to leave. We had such a lovely escape at Spicers Hidden Vale with some of my gorgeous EA colleagues. A welcome drink at the Homestead and a wine and cheese tasting made for a relaxing start, and the Koala Safari and walk through the lively market gardens added some adventure. Dinner at Homage Restaurant was a culinary delight in a peaceful setting. Chef Cameron and his team focus on ingredients from their gardens, the Scenic Rim region, and local producers. Thanks so much to Matt, Kayla, Britt, Cameron, and the whole team. We’re looking forward to collaborating again soon.
