The fireplace, pool table, sauna, and generous continental breakfasts were some of our favourite things. The place was incredibly tidy, well organised, and very clean, and the dry room for wet ski clothes was especially useful. “Pom” and Ann made us, as first time visitors to Jindabyne, feel so welcome. We stayed for a week and were glad to return to our room each night. It had a king-sized bed that we both slept exceptionally well in, plus a double bunk for the kids. There were two bedside tables, a bar fridge, shelves, and a wardrobe, along with our own toilet and shower. The shared meal space was no problem, and the atmosphere was engaging and helpful. We also made good use of the common areas outside the bedrooms and the TV with Netflix. Humble, warm, cosy, friendly, and inviting. I sincerely recommend Pom and Ann and the Chalet Jindabyne, and we plan to return.

The owner was kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was nice. We only needed somewhere at the last minute, so it did the job for one night, but I wouldn't return. It’s very basic dorm-style accommodation, and the communal setup won't suit everyone. We paid $360 for a studio with six bunks and a kitchen. Being near the slopes was handy, but the room was badly run down and smelled strongly of cooking left by previous guests. The bathroom fan didn't work, so shower steam lingered, and the room was cold.

Breakfast was included, which made the mornings easy, and there were plenty of places to unwind. We especially enjoyed the pool table. Our room also had a private bathroom, a small bar fridge, a TV and a cupboard. There was ski storage and a drying room too. We had a fantastic three-night stay and I'd definitely recommend chalet jindabyne.

The six-person room could use more luggage space, which was our only challenge. Otherwise, we had a great stay: the service and facilities were great, and breakfast was far better than we expected. The shops are about a 15-minute walk away. We'll definitely come back next time.

The hosts were friendly, and it was good value. It's not glamorous, but it's clean, warm and comfortable. I'd be happy to stay again for an affordable ski holiday.
