Vikas

We booked directly with vikas and got breakfast free. The welcome was warm, and the hotel seems to have been transformed. Our room was nice, with a new bathroom and a good shower. It came with a fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, towels and toiletries. Breakfast included bacon, eggs, toast, baked beans, hash browns, cheese, ham, granola, yoghurt, juice, tea and facilities. Most of it was great. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and there was plenty of parking on site. Rooms are roomy and modern, with board and ski storage and a drying room. Breakfast is a good buffet for $20, or free when you book directly. There's no daily room cleaning, just weekly. Nuggets Crossing is a 5-10 minute walk, and Banjo Paterson Inn takes about 15 minutes. Good, affordable accommodation in Jindabyne.

My partner and I stayed over the king's long weekend, and the place felt welcoming, warm and convenient. The owner was a great host, and the barista went out of her way to make breakfast comfortable and easy for us. The rooms are basic, but renovated and modern enough for a nice stay. I'm not sure why the rating is 3.2 stars. We'll definitely stay again next time we're down, 110%.

We spent five nights at Vikas in a Lake View queen room. It was quiet and comfortable, with a good view over the lake, enough room for our gear, and a good ensuite and shower. Breakfast was a nice spread to get the day started, and the staff were always cheerful and helpful.
