The unit had all the facilities we needed, including plenty of space to dry our snow gear, and it's close to the shops and retailers. The owner met us when we arrived and was friendly and easy to approach. We'd definitely consider coming back.

Lockdown meant we couldn't travel, as we were following government rules. We were prepared to accept some of the loss, but not all of it, and found it awful that the hotel expected customers to carry the full cost. We politely asked whether we could move the trip or get part of our money back, but the replies were template-like refusals. On the phone, she even told us, "This is not your business, it's mine." The customer service was terrible, and that attitude makes it hard to imagine getting good service if you do stay there. I can't really judge the facilities because my friends and I couldn't travel due to COVID-19. Perisher is a great place to ski, but this hotel doesn't seem like a comfortable place to stay.

Emails and requests were either rejected or ignored, and the phone call was met with the rudest service. I felt like they just wanted to take my money and run. I understand a business may not be able to refund everyone, but they wouldn't consider changing the dates or offering any compensation, even a shorter stay later on. I even asked if someone else could take over my booking. Instead, they'd rather cancel it, keep the money, then charge someone else for the room. Absolutely appalling.

The place was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were new. It was very clean, though my first impression was that it felt a bit dark and dated. There's no lake view, which is a shame. The key collection instructions were very clear. I'd recommend it.
