Equanimity - Beautiful character filled house!

The river swim was a really nice bonus, and the bridge and mountains nearby make for a scenic setting. We camped in a tent last night and had a very nice BBQ in the kitchen area, which was great for cooking. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for a great stay, I'd recommend it.

The powered sites are a long way from both the amenities and the river, but close enough to the main road that traffic and daytime construction across the road drove me mad. Internet drops out often and is limited to 5GB a day. There's no grey water pipe to connect to, and the walk down to the river is tiring when you're carrying everything back up. It's also too steep and far to lug kayaks. Being close to town is handy, but toilets at both ends of the park are really needed. It was okay for a stop while passing through, though I wouldn't stay more than a day or two.

Kids have plenty of room to play and explore safely here, and our furry friends had just as good a time as we did. It's a very family friendly, pet friendly spot. The camping facilities were clean and well maintained, which made it easy to relax. We loved spending time with friends around the campfire, exploring the beautiful surroundings, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Holiday Haven is a gem, whether you want an adventure or just a break in nature. Can't wait to come back.
