The caravans are clean and practical, and the location is lovely. For people doing regular FIFO work, though, the gym really needs more space. It'd also be useful to have a separate way to rate the food and kitchen service. Honestly, the food from the Indian chef and his wife is probably the only thing keeping KV together. Some of the best tasting food in Karratha!!!

The town is only a five minute drive away, and there's a great brewery just across from the campground. It's a nice spot to unwind after work. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and the receptionists have always gone above and beyond when we've had an issue. The housekeeping and maintenance teams have been great too, no complaints. Friendly staff, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The air con still wasn't very cool, even set to 17°.

The newer camp is where the food is, about a 400m walk from the old Karratha Village. It's got a pool and a terrific outdoor area. At the old village, the rooms were okay and clean, with a handy shared kitchen and a fridge in each room. The laundry had everything needed, even washing powder. There's also a bottle shop around the corner beside the caravan park.

I've enjoyed staying here each time. The room was comfortable and worked great for a one night stay, and the staff are really friendly. I also liked the meals at Velocity.
