The restaurant food was good quality and reasonably priced, and we felt very welcome. We really enjoyed the stay: it’s a great place to stop, with generous, very clean rooms in a lovely old pub.

The beer was cold and there was a good choice of drinks. It’s an easy place to find on the main road. The menu is very pub-style, with big, filling meals. Sitting outside ruined the experience for me because of the smokers.

Whenever I’m visiting Katanning, I try to have dinner here if I can. They don’t let me down. Last time I had the beef and Korean kimchi special with steamed rice, and it was delicious. I reckon they’ve got the best cooks in town. 😁👍

Really good lunch, with a wide range of meals. I was pretty impressed.

The central location is nice, and the rooms are clean. The shower and toilet are shared. Noise is the problem: the floorboards squeak, so if people walk along the hallway late at night or early in the morning, you hear every step and it can keep you awake. The rooms are above the bar too, and it can be noisy upstairs when you’re trying to sleep. 💤
