The beds were comfortable, and those electric blankets were a lovely bonus. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. I did find the lack of WiFi frustrating, as I still had work to finish.

We only booked one night, which is my one regret. It was our favourite place to stay on our Tasmania trip, and next time we’ll definitely stay longer. The cottage felt private and comfortable, and Helen, the new owner, had stocked the fridge with delicious breakfast food and added thoughtful personal touches. It’s peaceful and well placed for exploring Hobart and nearby towns. Thank you for having us, Helen. We can’t wait to come back.

A cosy, spacious loft with warm timber floors and a fireplace that really works. From above the resident cows and donkeys, we could look across the channel. Helen made us feel very welcome. Kettering has a little gem here, and I’m looking forward to another visit.

We stayed in the Wine Loft and loved both the house and its beautiful views. The hosts were kind and had thought through the details, including a cot and gate for our little one, toiletries, and an in house mini market for quiet nights in. It’s a wonderful place close to the Bruny Island ferry.

A real gem. My wife and I had a lovely week at Herons Rise, finding it peaceful, homely and very comfortable. It was handy for exploring the area, and the hosts were accommodating and shared great local tips and places to visit. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
