The path from the park into Kiama made it easy to reach the shops and other amenities, and the beach is just a short walk away. We came back for a second visit with our dog and stayed on an ensuite caravan site. It was clean, well looked after and added a welcome bit of comfort. The leafy grounds feel peaceful and relaxing. There isn't a shop in the park, but local shops are about a 10-minute walk away. We had another wonderful stay and would come back again.

The beachside location was the one clear plus during our one-night stay in February 2026 in our camper. The site's water connection was very hard to reach, and the amenities were only moderately clean. A few dogs belonging to other guests also seemed somewhat dangerous. Loud music from the immediate neighbors carried across the campground for much of the day. As other reviewers have said, it seemed to us that they were doing it deliberately to harass guests, though that's our impression. One has to wonder whether management knows about it. They urgently need to find a way to resolve the problem with the neighbors, or I can't recommend the park.

The ensuite site was a good size and clean, and the park's facilities were good. But the neighbors behind site 54, not other campers, made our weekend anything but peaceful. Music blared from around 6-8 pm one evening, then again on Saturday from about 3-8 pm. When a camper politely asked for the volume to come down, it got even louder. It's a shame because the park itself was otherwise fine, and the stay could have been relaxing. We probably wouldn't return after this. If a quiet break is what you're after, I'd avoid the sites near 54 or pick another park.

A walk into Kiama's Main Street is manageable but includes some uphill sections, mostly along marked footpaths. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and food delivery options nearby. The park also has a public playground with swings and a slide, and we've always found the noise level acceptable for a child-friendly place. We've spent the October long weekend here for four years and have booked again for 2026. We choose cabins because we're not campers. They're right on the beach, with one assigned parking space each, linen provided, and a need to bring your own beach towels. Our cabin has gas cooking, a full-size fridge, a small dishwasher and a barbecue. The camping sites aren't beachfront, though they're still close to the water. Park facilities have always been clean and well maintained. Wherever you stay in the park, the beach is within walking distance. The Main Street and another beach, which is patrolled at certain times, are also walkable. Check the patrol hours if that's important to you.

The bay views are right there, and you can step out of the door onto a quiet, beautiful beach. We stayed here twice, and each time the management team was so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make the stay what we wanted. It's a little beachfront gem, and everything was spot on.
