Nova Kiama

We return every January because the staff at Nova Kiama are so good. Rachel and Liz at the front desk are fantastic, and the rooms are clean and modern. The Kombi van cafe on site is adorable, and the pool is smallish, heated and fab. You can get to just about everything from this superb location. Book direct, we got a great deal. Thanks, Nova Kiama. We’ll be back!

The location is very convenient, right beside the train station and the grand hotel, and everything is within walking distance. Covered parking is included. We stayed in a clean one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette and a spacious queen bedroom. I believe the room was designed for disabled access, which would explain the large bathroom and the lack of space for a small dining or coffee table in the kitchen. There aren’t many towel hooks, and the bathroom supplies are limited, so you’ll need to ask reception for accessories. The woman at reception was very helpful and hardworking. She handled the front desk as well as making coffee and serving snacks from the coffee car. She’s multi-talented.

The reception and service staff took the time to explain things, show us around and give us all the information we needed to settle in. They made it easy for us to enjoy the wedding we were attending nearby that weekend. Seriously, some of the friendliest and most helpful staff we’ve come across anywhere. Kiama is a beautiful little spot, and Nova is in a great position for walking or taking a short drive to see it all. We’d thoroughly recommend Nova Kiama to other travellers. We’ll be back. This was my second stay. The location is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was big, and the kitchenette was good, but there was nowhere comfortable to eat. The lounge was really uncomfortable, and the bed wasn’t the best either. After seven days, I couldn’t wait to get home.
