The architecture and detail make this an interesting place, but if you need to sleep, I'd give it a miss. We left after one night and forfeited the second, something we have never done in 40 years of hotel and motel stays. The old-fashioned air conditioner next door kept cycling on and off all night, and we could hear the heat pump cutting in and out. We didn't sleep at all. The plasterboard walls are thin, so you hear everything. We tried to get part of our money back at 9AM on the second day, but couldn't. The room felt cold and uninviting, with floating timber floors and a cross draft. There was a live cockroach when we arrived, and the shower recess was moldy and poorly cleaned.

We only booked here because our usual place was full for the school holidays, but I'm really glad we did. We were upgraded when we checked in. The corridors were extremely busy, in a good way, but the signs made it easy to find our room. It looked newly renovated and everything was super clean. The whole place had an amazing vibe.

James went out of his way to help us and make our stay feel special. The kids absolutely loved the popcorn, and we appreciated it so much. I can't recommend this place enough!

This place was such a cool find, with a phenomenal decor and atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and there are lots of restaurants, specialist shops and boutiques. It even has six cinemas and an art gallery on the premises. We'll definitely be back!

A comfy room and a good stopover. There are lots of shops and restaurants inside the motel building, and the guy at reception was courteous and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you 👍🏼
