Scotland Island Lodge

Rosemary and Colin helped make our three days at this BNB/Lodge just what we needed, so relaxing. Our room was very quiet and private, looking through the eucalypt forest. The walks were lovely, many going around the island, and we also appreciated the landscaping and garden around the house, which must be hard to manage on an island. The home is beautiful, spotless and comfortable, and Rosemary and Colin are wonderful hosts. They served lovely homemade treats and meals, and were polite, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely couple of days at the Lodge, and wished we'd booked an extra night. There were four of us, two couples, in the Pittwater Suite and Clareville Suite. The house is very comfortable, and having extra space to sit and chat in the Clareville Suite was great. One thing to keep in mind: if the guests aren't friends, it could be tricky because people in the Pittwater Suite have to walk through the Clareville Suite to reach their room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and Rosemary and Collin are delightful. With Rosemary's help we arranged facials nearby, and a yoga instructor came to the Lodge. Both were excellent. There's lots of walking to do, and with another day we would have spent some time swimming. Parking at Church Point isn't easy, so make sure to park only in the 24 hour zone. We'd recommend the Lodge.

We spent four days on Scotland Island and would love to return if we get the chance. Collin and Rosemary were warm, helpful and accommodating hosts. The food was exceptional, especially the homemade breads, yogurt, jams and desserts. People on the island and the ferry were friendly and helpful too.
