We picked the apartment because the bedroom was separate from the living area, so our baby could sleep in her own space. The rooms and bathroom were very generous in size, and the apartment was clean and comfortable in a quiet, convenient location. The car park was the one drawback. The spaces are very tight, and getting our baby into her car seat there was difficult. We ended up parking on the street instead.

I’d been using the service for about six weeks and was satisfied. A few days before checking out, while moving to a new place, I accidentally left 10 pairs of shoes in a shopping bag. When I came back a few days later, they’d all been thrown away. I complained and was told they’d look into it, but for over a month there was no apology and nothing was done. They just blamed the cleaners. Worst experience of my life.

We booked a week here because it was modern and reasonably priced. That was a mistake. The room was fairly spacious, but our balcony was permanently locked. The bed was lumpy and noisy, the most uncomfortable one I’ve slept on since backpacking in Africa, and we each got one tiny, thin pillow. The bathroom door handle was falling off, the hot water was spotty, and the shower shelf wasn’t screwed onto anything. Reception staffing was sporadic, and there was a bucket on the desk catching drips from the air conditioning. Our room wasn’t cleaned all week, even though the booking never said it would be unserviced. I’d avoided several other places for that very reason. The car park had tight spaces and was never secured. The attached photos show how salubrious it felt. There were stolen shopping trolleys there too. In two words: bad hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to restaurants, bars and sightseeing. We also greatly appreciated the management and reception staff. They were friendly, helpful and professional, and went out of their way to look after us.
