From the spacious deck and the living area, and even the main bedroom, we could look out over the beach, ocean, whales, tidal creek and bushland. Those views made time in the house so relaxing. The house was a few minutes’ walk from the beach and town facilities, and Crescent Head itself felt just right for a seaside holiday: small and quiet, but with everything we needed, including plenty of places to eat. We took walks to nearby lookouts and nature trails, and drove to several others. It was our first visit to Crescent Head, and we stayed at Shellseekers last month, in Sep'24. The house is beautiful, spacious, spotless and equipped with everything we could have wanted, including a full kitchen, comfortable bed and furnishings. The hosts were friendly and communicated well. I don’t usually write this much, but it really was the nicest house we’ve stayed in. We’d love to return at the first chance, hopefully with our adult children and family next time. There’s plenty of room.

Quick update: another dream girls trip in 2025, and the modified bathroom was fantastic. This has become our yearly Melbourne Cup escape for a group of girls from Port Stephens, and this was my fourth year in Crescent Head. The balcony view is amazing, and we spent every spare moment out there. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need. Crescent Head is friendly, stress-free and has plenty to do. Our previous stay was too short, so we booked a whole week for 2025. Thanks to the owners for making it so lovely, and to the kind woman who cleaned before and after.

We spent evenings eating out on the deck, listening to the waves and enjoying the calm. The kitchen was fully equipped for meals at home, and the spacious, spotless rooms had beds so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. Shellseekers is beautifully maintained, with a welcoming coastal feel, and is a short walk from the beach. The ocean views are breathtaking. Everything is close by if you want to surf, swim or explore the coastline. The hosts were welcoming and quick to respond, making the stay easy. We had a perfect, relaxing time at Shellseekers in Crescent Head and can’t wait to return. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, style and a great beachside location.

The bathroom renovation and air conditioning were great additions to our week at Shellseekers. Good communication and lovely Christmas touches made the stay memorable. We’ve booked for next year.
