Oxley Court Serviced Apartments

The rooms are on the older side and could use an update, plus more furniture than just a fold-out couch. We also had a couple of communication hassles: it took speaking with at least two staff members to arrange after-hours entry, and the next morning the maid knocked at 9:30 to say checkout was at 10, even though we had an 11am checkout. Another call was needed to sort that out. No one was at reception when we checked out, either.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, the location was excellent, and it was nice and quiet.

The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds, a balcony and a nice bathroom. Internet is another story. The paper in the room calls it “HI SPEED,” but pages could take a minute to load, Roblox wouldn't even open, and I usually saw only one or two bars, with four being the most. Good hotel otherwise, but the Wi-Fi feels like the 1990s. Gamers, I'd skip it. If you're a grandma looking for somewhere to stay, though, this could be the place! It's a really good spot :)

The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and did the job for our two nights, but we wouldn't stay again because it wasn't being looked after properly. We spent close to an hour cleaning when we arrived. The ground-floor unit near the car park was noisy, the carpet was filthy, and dust and hair stuck to everything, including the dining chairs. There were toenails in one bedroom's carpet. We wiped and sanitised the switches, TV and AC remotes, fridge, kettle and microwave handles, and the kitchen floor hadn't been mopped. Even the high chair from the corridor was dirty, with sticky clips underneath. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the ducted system worked well, but the rooms got cold. The one small oil heater didn't do much. The bathroom was old, the microwave wobbled, and the TVs could do with an update, perhaps to smart TVs. I tried to give feedback at reception on Sunday checkout, but it was closed.
