Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour Terraces

Our room was exceptionally clean, including the balcony and its outdoor furniture. We’d stayed at Pacific Bay Resort two years earlier and the room there hadn’t been cleaned properly, so we’d had some concerns about booking here. Wi-Fi connected easily the first time and worked smoothly after that. We didn’t get to try all the resort amenities, but we’re looking forward to them on our next visit. A few days before arrival we had to change our booking because of the war in Iran. The team member who handled it was amazing. She explained the cancellation and new booking process clearly, reassured us and covered everything so thoroughly I had nothing left to ask. Check-in was quick too, and the attendant was very professional and explained what was happening at the resort.

Kate and her associate, Mili, were warm, friendly and genuinely caring. They listened to our concerns and went out of their way to help. We arrived early, and our rooms were ready ahead of time. The resort seems very well managed. Kate’s kind, professional leadership and the good rapport she has with the staff really show.

The apartment was spacious, with a lovely outlook over lush gardens, and we could cook and do laundry. For the same nightly price, we’d have been in a noisy tradie motel in town. The restaurant meals weren’t good enough to match their price, but otherwise the stay was fantastic.

Otherwise it’s a nice hotel with a nice pool, and the receptionist who moved me seemed genuinely concerned. But the way the issue was handled at checkout has left me unsure I’d stay again. First the sink flooded, and staff dealt with it promptly. Then the shower flooded too. Later, while getting ready for bed, I noticed the fridge wasn’t keeping drinks cool. Cockroaches then started crawling around. They moved me to another room, but the next day I saw someone else in the original one. Staff had said it hadn’t been properly fumigated, so letting another guest use it seemed poor and made me distrustful of how they’d handled things.
