The grounds are well looked after and the rooms are really clean. I arrived on the Greyhound at 1am with a lot of luggage, and the hotel staff were so helpful. Self check-in was through a lock box, and there was a fresh complimentary continental breakfast. Wonderful, and well worth the 💰.

The food was great, with lots of choices. I had the bento and it was lit. The restaurant seemed to have mostly hotel guests and tourists, while the sports bar is where everyone goes for after-work drinks. The hotel is right in the centre of town and just a couple of minutes’ drive from the airport. The rooms were clean, with really comfortable beds, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming, with that country feel you get in regional Australia. There’s a nice pool for kids or couples, plus Friday night bands and DJs, the best entertainment in town. The airport shuttle made things easy when I was flying. Highly recommend the hotel, restaurant and pub.

I’ve lived in kununurra for 3 years, and the food quality has fallen drastically over the past year and a half. It’s overpriced, and the quality is bare minimum across the board. Drinks cost too much too, even packets of smith's chips are $7.50. Hotel kununurra has lost touch with the good old Aussie outback pub feel. The pictures show what I thought I was getting, then what I actually got before even eating.

There’s plenty of shade, and it’s handy to stop in for a meal and a drink. It’s certainly a pub, but the food is a big step up. The staff had a great ‘can do’ attitude. My King prawns were perfectly cooked and longer than my hand, ‘leaders’ maybe.

The room was a decent size, the staff were friendly, and the hotel restaurant served nice food. I’d go back.
