I stayed at St Agnes homestead as part of the Maiaveda Wellness Retreat. The grounds were beautiful, and the historic home was very comfortable. Archie the dog was lovely to pat!

The stay at Saint Agnes Homestead was peaceful from start to finish, exactly the sort of place to unwind and recharge. The property is stunning, with gorgeous grounds and a picturesque view that puts you at ease straight away. The accommodations have a beautiful old fashioned feel, adding to the charm and comfort, and I felt transported to a serene escape where every detail helped create a calming atmosphere. Traudie, the owner, was warm, friendly and incredibly accommodating, making me feel at home as soon as I arrived. My three day retreat was truly unforgettable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility in a beautiful setting.

A beautiful, funky place to stay on a superb property, just a few hundred metres from the main st in Kyneton. A ripper, highly recommend.

I came as part of a wellness retreat package, but the accommodation I was assigned doesn’t seem to appear on the website, and it was substandard. The room was dark, cold and smelled dusty and old, and one bedroom’s bed hadn’t been made. After I complained, I was moved to the Retreat room, which is shown on the website. It was suitable, but I had to go back and forth between the two places to use a kitchenette. The retreat included food that needed reheating, and that was only possible in the first place I’d been given. A storm knocked out the lighting during my stay, and the repairs caused several disruptions. I received a bottle of wine at the end as an apology. I question why I was initially put in below standard accommodation when other options were available, including one with a kitchen. Very disappointing. I hope the accommodation I was given is no longer being used. In my view, some kind of refund should have been offered.

The stable apartment was such a cute, cosy place to unwind, and the views were stunning. My husband and I came for a little retreat through Maiaveda Holistic Health in kyneton and loved every bit of our stay. Would definitely recommend it for a getaway!
