The place was neat, clean, well appointed, and in a great location. Breakfast provisions were good, and the heater worked well. But the listing said there was a hot tub, and there was only a bath. Also, because of a miscommunication between the owners and building manager, she let herself in on the second day, thinking we'd left. We had to show her our booking confirmation to prove we had booked two nights.

BEWARE WHEN BOOKING! I thought I'd booked an apartment to myself, but when I arrived I found I was sharing with a couple of complete strangers. I was on my own and terrified, especially with no lock on my bedroom door. I slept with a bed pushed against it. The other guests only found out about the shared setup when they asked about the bedding, and by then it was too late for them to book somewhere else. It wasn't worth the $250 a night I paid. The owners said they'd emailed me to warn me, but that's not true. Given my situation, I never would have booked.

A really nice, well-serviced unit, and Lisa was lovely. The only issue was that the stairs are pretty steep.

My sister booked months ago for this weekend and paid $500 for two nights in an apartment. She was never told it would be a room in an apartment with other guests. The owners say they informed her and she agreed, but she never got that email and would never have agreed to it. A woman on her own with strangers. It feels like greed and opportunism. She spent the night with a bed pushed against a bedroom door that wouldn't lock. Bad form, blue rosella.
