What a ripper pub. We had lunch with the family yesterday and everything was spot on. The staff had it all running like a well oiled machine, and the meals were nicely put together with generous serves. The roast is super value. A polished outfit all round, we’ll be back.

April 2026. A rare thing about The Shamrock is that it serves food all day, so you’re not tied to the usual pub meal times. We had the huge bistro to ourselves while eating Seafood Linguine and the specials board Lambs Fry and Bacon. Both were presented beautifully and tasted even better. Bread and butter pudding rounded off an excellent meal. The staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend, we’ll return.

The Shamrock was easy to work with when I recently held a significant birthday party in their function room. Organizing it was very low stress, and they let us in to decorate and helped us use their sound system for our playlist. The finger food options were excellent and the ones we picked were delicious. Staff were happy to cater for some allergy related restrictions, and both my vegetarian guests and the meat eaters were pleased with the food. For dinner we arranged a reduced set price menu, with good quality pub style meals. My nieces had fun with the daquari slushi machine. Several guests stayed in the accommodation and said the rooms were small and basic, but the beds were comfortable. Thanks to the staff for a great event.

A fella spotted that we looked a bit lost and showed us the door to the accommodation, which was a nice welcome. The place had great colours and was well appointed. The bathrooms were lovely and easy to use, the bedrooms cosy and cute, and thank god for the AC. We could hear the live band from our room and the balcony, though it was superb packed, so we kept to ourselves. Booking online was easy. We’ll be back.
