The food was amazing, with really generous portions, and Gus and nugget were friendly company too. We spent the best afternoon by the bar, with the wood fire going. It felt like being at a friend's place. Troy the publican kept the beers coming as we finished them and had great stories to tell. If you want a fair dinkum old-school Aussie pub experience, this is the place. We'll definitely visit again if we're ever in Tassie.

There's a generous area for free camping, and the paid showers are great. The meals come in generous servings, and the place is friendly, with drinks on hand. It's a funky little backwater pub in a nice bush setting. Don't book through websites, just phone or turn up. And don't pay for a site down the road if it has no showers.

The rooms were warm and comfortable, and the food was spot on. Early risers get complimentary breakfast. We were looked after like family and got unbelievably friendly service from the team. It's a hidden gem for anyone touring in a van, tent, bike or anything. You don't need to be a fisherman to stay here, and one of Australia's best motorcycle roads leads right to it.

There's plenty of space to camp for the night, so you can have a few. The food is grouse, and the publican is a ripper bloke. Getting in on the dirt road, with the place's grouse old-school vibe, makes this an unreal outback pub. Leave a stubby holder or something from where ya from, the collection has already started and it's brilliant. I can't wait to go back to the Lake Leake Inn and have a few. You'll have an exceptional time!

We stayed in the paddock in our motorhome, brought drinks and meals, and really enjoyed the entertainment. The food was great, everyone was very friendly, and we had a really good time. We'll definitely return.
