The pool was a real highlight on the hot days, and the bathrooms were plentiful and seemed to be cleaned three times a day. We spent a week on a powered site with our toddler, from 3 January to 10 January, and loved the relaxed, family-friendly feel. It has a bush-camping atmosphere while still having the amenities you need. Nearby campers told us they’d been returning for about 20 years, which says a lot. The beach is an easy walk away, and the lake and tavern are within walking distance too. Lakes Entrance is easy to get to, but the park feels away from the bustle. This was our first visit, and I’m sure we’ll be back. We’ve already recommended it to lots of people.

We’re in Melbourne and come here several times a year, sometimes on our own and sometimes with friends. Sitting by the campfire and catching up with the regulars and hosts is a big part of the fun. Patti and Wayne are lovely and always accommodating. The park feels natural and rustic while still being clean, with great facilities and things to do for all ages. It’s surrounded by nature and close to the beach, General Store Cafe and Tavern. We’re looking forward to our next trip in about a month.

We camped in a tent rather than staying in a room. The facilities and kids’ areas were great, and everything was clean and well cared for. We’d definitely come back for another holiday.

The staff were incredibly helpful with us clueless tourists. The location is excellent, with beach access and outdoor showers to rinse off the sand. The toilet and shower facilities were wonderful and very clean. Absolutely fantastic.

Good value for a mid-week stay, and I’d recommend it at that time. The cabin was small but had enough room for two and was very clean. The heating could have been better, though there was an electric blanket on the bed.
