The quiet here was such a refreshing break. The property looks out over North Arm lake, and there’s a nearby path down to the water. Every room has a view and a veranda, and the place is equipped to sleep up to 12 people. The area is lovely, with Lakes Entrance town about a five-minute drive away.

The movie room was a real treat, and there’s plenty of room inside. Outside, the big balcony and grassy area look out over the bush and river. It’s peaceful here but still only a few minutes from the heart of Lakes. The place was very neat and tidy.

That sunset over the river, with my feet up and an ice cream, was my favourite moment. The house is only 3kms from the centre of town, in a beautiful spot by the river, and it felt like a home while we were away. The kitchen had all sorts of useful things, including a sandwich machine, blender, milk frother, toaster and spices. There were DVDs, netflixs, plenty of extra blankets, a lovely wood fire, heaters, fans and air conditioners too.

We’ll definitely go back. The sunsets by the water were the best, and there was lots of wildlife around. It’s a lovely place in a beautiful setting, with comfy beds and great heating.

My friends and my Puppy loved this getaway, especially the river access and great views. It’s a spacious, clean house with everything well equipped. I’d recommend it to anyone, especially if you need a pet friendly place.
