The shared meals with other guests and their pets made for some really lovely, unexpected interactions. We brought our dog too, and there are a couple of good dog parks nearby if your pet makes a friend. That family and pet friendly feel is part of what made our stay memorable. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with several options, though none include animal products. There are good cafes nearby if you want eggs benny, but I'd encourage giving the food here a try. The host, who runs most of this intimate rustic cottage herself, was very kind and welcoming. This is a modest, beautiful old timber house, not a luxury apartment or corporate hotel. You can hear footsteps and doors closing, and the frames shift with the weather. Some rooms have stairs and may not suit guests with mobility issues, though there are ground floor rooms, so ask if accessibility matters for you. It has loads of charm and character, and we have fond memories of our trip. We'd happily recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of stay.

The Goose Nest room was perfect for my wife, our little dog and me for a night. We were greeted with a generous pack of wine, chocolate and fruit, a lovely touch. The view, atmosphere, thoughtful details and amenities all felt just right, and a delicious breakfast rounded off our stay. We can't fault a thing, highly recommend it, especially the Goose Nest.

Lyn is a sweet hostess, and the breakfast was fresh and lovely with a nice selection. The view from our clean room was lovely, though we found the room a little too low. The view here is great.

The shared area is roomy and comfortable, and the ocean view is beautiful. Breakfast was tasty, with a good range of food. The room and bathroom have the facilities guests need.
