The bed was comfortable and the location was great, but we were quoted one price and charged $100 more when we arrived. The office staff were rude and arrogant. The cabin's pots were dirty, and there was no invoice, even after we had paid a deposit and still owed the balance. At the BBQ area there was no fire extinguisher, fire blanket or water. We wouldn't be in a hurry to stay there again.

The owner walked us to our area when we arrived a bit late, then stopped for a quick chat that made us feel very welcome. Five star service. The park is exceptionally clean and highly recommended. Thanks, Michael, for a great experience.

A cancellation meant we could get a cabin at the last minute, and I'm really glad we did. The cabins are quiet, very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and all amenities. The price was reasonable too. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back.

Fishing is right on hand beside the Camden Haven inlet, and Laurieton shops, club and cinema are only a short walk away. The Haven Caravan Park has powered sites for caravans and motorhomes, as well as four two-bedroom cabins for holiday rental. The cabins are neat, clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen, air conditioning and flat-screen TV. Both the sites and cabins are great value.

The owners were shockingly aggressive and arrogant, surly hardly covers it. If we'd known, we'd rather have slept outside with the 8-foot snake we ran over near reception than put up with their abuse. Our luxury hotel in Brisbane, Capri by Fraser, cost $48 less than these rundown, dated, spider-infested digs. It's hell, not a haven.
