The staff are always friendly and fantastic, and the place is quiet and central, so it works well for a stopover. We visit the area regularly and find it good value: the rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, though they’re showing wear and some rising damp. The pub food and entertainment are great. The retro bathroom tiles, taps and funky lights have real character, and the rooms could look cool with a little styling, maybe some 50s prints. The pillows were terrible, thankfully I had one in the car. Towels were clean but very old, and a few hangers and a table to eat at would be handy. Thanks, guys!

My partner rates the pork meal 10/10 and orders it every time we come in. The food is top notch, service is great, and the staff are polite and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely too. Can't fault it. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend.

We go to the same place every year on our annual holiday, and on Saturday night, 17/1/25, we went to the pub with friends for a meal and dancing to the solo band singer. The service was so good, my calamari with sweet potato fries and salad was delicious, and the bar staff were really friendly. Thanks for making our night such a good one! The next night we went to North Haven Club for dinner, where the food was awful and the staff were rude, especially the chef.

The brisket burger was awesome, and the duck spring rolls made for a big, filling starter. Everything was tasty, and the service was quick and good even with plenty of people dining.

We loved everything about this country pub. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, the drinks are fairly priced, and the food is unbelievably tasty. The Aussie staff are bloody friendly too. Awesome country hotel.
