We spent most of our time outside, and the beach was just a few steps away. Shops, cafes and restaurants were also within walking distance, which made everything convenient. The pool was small but well looked after, and nice for a quick swim or some time in the sun. The apartment itself was compact but comfortable for four, with an efficient layout, a fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and comfortable living area. It's a good fit for a short stay if you want easy beach access and local amenities rather than lots of indoor space.

Leisa, the building manager, was lovely and very helpful. My husband and I stayed five nights in one-bedroom apartment (6), and we'd happily return. We spent a lot of time on the spacious ground-floor patio, having meals and drinks at the table and lounge setting while enjoying the ocean views and stars at night. The apartment was in great condition, with a well-stocked kitchen, excellent electric stove and oven, and full-size dishwasher. There was also a washing machine in the bathroom, along with a bath, shower and good-size basin. I believe the bathroom is due to be renovated sometime soon, which should make it even better.

The hostess was extremely unpleasant and seemed to resent guests checking in on time. Not recommended. The accommodation had a decent industrial AirBnB style, with a modern but soulless interior. The balcony was nice, looking over a busy road towards the beach, and it wasn't too far from Botany Bay.

We were asked to empty the garbage bins before leaving, with a warning that we'd be charged extra if we didn't. That wasn't part of the original conditions, and I expect bin emptying to be included in the usual cleaning after a stay. It felt like 4-5 star accommodation in comfort, but not in the arrival arrangements. The place was very comfortable and clean, and we stayed for three nights. Many storage cupboards were locked, so there wasn't room to unpack all our clothes, groceries and bathroom items.

Leisa and the team gave great service, even sharing travel information about flooded roads. Our unit was beautiful and newly renovated, with the best of everything. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning the next one.
