Sisleys Motel

I was impressed by the place and would recommend it, but hygiene matters, so I hope this feedback helps. I saw a cockroach on the bed head, and the toilet seemed to have been used and could have been flushed again by the previous person or cleaners. The room was really nice and modern, with a spacious attached bathroom. I appreciated the details, including an iron and ironing board, shirt rack, shared seat, biscuits and, especially, a box of tissues. There's also a pool. The gentleman at the desk said he was upgrading me, though I can't compare it with the other room.

The bathrooms looked as if they'd been renovated in the dark by drunk people, and the “Las Vegas brothel” style was a total disaster. Housekeeping also came into our room an hour before checkout while we were all still in bed. At check-in, the manager was so breathtakingly rude that one of my four travel companions, also a woman, had to step in and rescue me. After I stepped out, he apparently explained his behaviour by saying, “it’s not that I dislike women, I just try to avoid them as much as possible.” This man should not work in hospitality, or any job involving other people. Law enforcement might want to check his basement. Do NOT stay here, I implore you. Noooooo.

The concierge guy was friendly, but I cancelled the other five nights I had planned after just one night here. The room felt dark and depressing, wasn't clean, was noisy, and had cockroaches. Kids kept diving into the courtyard pool all afternoon until 9:20pm, and smoke from people outside my room came into it. For some reason, the place felt like public housing, if you know what I mean.

The bathrooms looked like a child had renovated them, and the job was very poor. The owner let a very large number of guests drink and party until early morning. I heard fighting, swearing and kids screaming until 4am, with no consideration for anyone else. It was an absolutely terrible experience. I couldn't get to sleep until after 4am. Pay extra and stay somewhere else.
