Maya Sanctuary

A fireplace and hot tub made our nature getaway feel extra special. The location is stunning, and it was just the break from Sydney we needed. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely return. We highly recommend the bush walk on the property ❤️

The fireplace got plenty of use, and so did the hot tub. Even though it was cold and very wet, that didn’t matter. We wanted somewhere quiet and isolated, and that’s exactly what we got for our three nights in the Sirius cabin, booked through Air BNB. Many thanks, Julian & Andre. There’s plenty to explore, including a lovely creek about a 250m walk from the cabins. We ordered a grazing box and dinner from Christine, and both were amazing. Highly recommend.

One thing we loved was the bushwalking trails, with options for different ability levels. The five cabins were spaced around 20 to 30 meters apart, but we never felt disturbed by other guests. It gave us a great balance of privacy and comfort. Service was discreet and seamless. We didn’t see the staff, but everything had been arranged flawlessly, and email communication was clear and easy. The romantic spa cottage was beautifully designed and cosy, with a private spa/jacuzzi on the deck. From the moment we arrived, Maya Sanctuary felt blissfully peaceful, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. A perfect place for a quiet, romantic getaway. We can’t wait to return! 🌿✨💛

The cottage was lovely and clean, and the welcome note with drinks and chocolates was a really special touch. We loved the spa, and the thick robes were comfy. It was so quiet, just the escape from city life we needed. The electric blanket kept the bed toasty, and all the little details added to the experience. Two downsides for us: the dirt road leading up to Maya Sanctuary had potholes we weren’t keen on, though they only matter when you arrive and leave. Also, the bed was too hard for our liking, which made it difficult to get comfortable.
