La Perouse Lorne

Waking up to the calm coastal atmosphere was magic, and breakfast was another treat, fresh, generous and served with great conversation. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds unbelievably comfortable. Laurel and Sue made the stay unforgettable. Their care and pride in La Perouse came through in everything, but the hospitality never felt forced or hotel-like. It was personal, relaxed and genuinely warm. The house itself is stunning too, full of charm and thoughtful details that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. My wife and I didn’t have much reason to return to Lorne regularly before, but now we do. We’ll find excuses to visit more often after meeting Laurel and Sue and falling in love with their pride and joy. A special place run by special people. We can’t wait to come back.

Laurel and Sue were wonderful hosts, and we’ll definitely return. We loved the cosy room and its beautiful fireplace, plus the great bed and linen. The little balcony was perfect for looking at the stars. There was Aesop shampoo and conditioner, and breakfast was tasty with the best coffee. A lovely weekend at La Perouse.

Laurel and Sue are gracious, informative hosts, and the breakfast they prepare each day is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and every detail feels considered. La Perouse is charming, just a short but steep walk from the town centre. A lovely stay!
