LORNE CHALET APARTMENT 11 Odyssea

The first night was a mess. When we arrived, there were no sheets or doona cover on the beds, and the used, dirty bedding from the previous guests was in plain sight, shoved in a cupboard. Staff said they couldn't do anything until the next morning. Around midnight, a man called to ask if we'd stay at the hotel next door until housekeeping could clean our room. We'd booked this place, and if we wanted that hotel, we would have booked it. For over $1,000 for 3 days, I expected a clean room and some professionalism. Instead, there was no useful help for guests. I've included photos of the bedding as it was when we checked in. The customer service was awful too. Staff came across as arrogant and wouldn't help with questions, telling me to wait or call different numbers. While verifying my booking on the phone, someone even asked, “you don’t sound like a female”. I don't usually leave bad reviews, and this is probably my first, but people should know about this experience. I felt like the place was a scam. Save your money and book somewhere else if you don't want to be disappointed. If I could give no stars, I would. One star feels far too generous for this dump.
