Gypsy Willows

We rented both the Villa and the House, and they were beautiful, clean and very spacious. The views are spectacular. We found a little piece of heaven in Wollombi and will definitely be back. Thanks for having us and creating such a lovely property.

We’ve stayed twice at Gypsy Willows, once in The House and once in The Villa, and both visits were exceptional. Jim is a wonderful host, and you can see how much care has gone into making this a great getaway. We’ve also stayed at two other well-known Wollombi properties, but Gypsy Willows is our favourite by far. Can’t wait to visit again!

I love Wollombi, and Gypsy Willows made the visit even better. The House has three bedrooms with their own bathrooms, plus a main bathroom for guests, so visitors don’t need to go through anyone’s bedroom. It has open-plan living, a wood fire heater, a pool, and very clean rooms with comfortable beds and fresh sheets. The Villa has two bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet, as well as open living and a wood fireplace. It’s clean too, and the beds are really comfortable with crisp, fresh sheets. You won’t find a fruit platter, cheese platter or bottle of wine waiting beside a meat platter on arrival. What you do get is a lovely place to stay in Wollombi at an affordable price. I booked the Villa for two nights for my daughter, her partner and their baby during a cold August weekend, when they were getting married at Wollombi Church. Our family has ties to the area, and my daughter and son-in-law wanted a country picnic wedding. The property was just right for the occasion. The outlook was stunning, with sunny, sheltered outdoor areas. The house felt spacious and quiet, yet cosy and welcoming. The host was easy to reach and helpful in every way. Thank you for giving my daughter such a lovely treat for this special occasion.
