Maclean Hotel

Dinner was good when we stopped in on Friday. My wife had the seafood basket and I chose the steak sandwich. Staff were friendly, and you can sit inside or on the deck. Ordering is at the counter, then a buzzer lets you know when to collect your meal from the next counter. They also have specials on each night of the week.

I ordered a fish burger at the last minute, around 2:30, and it was the best one I’ve ever had. They even offered to make me a roast or whatever I wanted. Highly recommend going here.

The meals were generous and delicious, and the rooms and shared bathrooms were really clean. The bathroom and laundry looked new, with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. The staff went above and beyond to find us a place to stay at the last minute. We’d definitely recommend Maclean Hotel and stay again.

The people working here really made the stay for me. They were fantastic with us and so, so friendly. We also loved the food, especially the burger and chips, which were tasty and reasonably priced. The rooms are old school, but freshly painted, with a fridge and really comfortable beds. The showers and laundry facilities were amazing. We only stayed two nights, and the value for money was incredible. Thanks for the great service, hope we can come back sometime! :)
