Rusty and his wife made me feel safe and at home after a pretty awful experience at another place in Rockhampton. My family were incredibly grateful to know their wife, mummy and daughter was secure on her work trip. Rusty has worked so hard on the property in the 5 months since he acquired the Inn, and he truly is a gentleman. His gardening is amazing, with the lawn groomed so perfectly it looks hand-cut with scissors. The lovely pup came to see me after I said it was okay, and that made me feel even more at home. There's a lovely continental breakfast provided free of charge. I hear Rusty sometimes makes yummy homemade pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven on the weekend to share with guests. The Inn still has work to be done, but I can see how much Rusty has achieved in a short time. Give this humble, rather funky inn a go next time you're in the area. You will NOT be disappointed. I loved it immensely and would gladly stay again when I'm up in Yeppoon. The couple were the kindest, sweetest and most inclusive people I've had the honour of meeting. Clean facilities, great service, and a perfect peaceful, quiet environment. Privacy guaranteed 💯 While I was studying, Rusty thought I was hiding away and came to fetch me to meet the other guest. He'd personally made pizza for all of us as a get-to-know-your-neighbour thing, which I adored. I met the beautiful and smart Tammy, intelligent and sweet Michael, and a gorgeous couple, wendy and Bruce, who were all travelling through.

The facilities were very clean, tidy and modernised, with a pool, B-B-Q and air-conditioned rooms. It's in a gorgeous gateway to the Keppel Islands and Great Barrier Reef, with regular transport at the door and a major shopping centre just five minutes away. Just bring yourself and your favourite beach gear for a memorable tropical holiday that suits every budget. Highly recommended.

RUSTY made me feel really welcome, and the service was spectacular. It's a great little place to stay, with clean rooms in a great spot just out of town, nice and quiet. I'll definitely stay again, and bring the family next time we're in Yepoon.
