Linger A While Chalet

We had a beautiful stay here for our honeymoon, and the place had everything we needed to be comfortable. My only complaints were about the supplies. We arrived to just six sheets of toilet paper, so we called the lady and got some from another room, but that supply was nearly gone too. We asked for more to be brought the next day, but none arrived, so we bought our own. A roll was left on the table outside on the morning we checked out. Toilet paper is a necessity, and as an owner I'd make sure each room had at least two full rolls per night. I'd also suggest fresh towels every day. Having to dry off with wet, damp towels isn't luxurious.

The large four-poster bed made for a really comfortable stay, and the chalet has a private balcony outside, a gas heater, air conditioner, microwave and appliances. It's set in the rainforest but still an easy walk to Gallery Walk and Monkey Tree Bar. Trish was very helpful with the couple of questions we had. I'd happily recommend staying here.

We came for a surprise romantic break and liked it so much that we extended our stay. Kerryanne took such good care of us, down to the little details. The wood fire heater was a favourite, and she supplied plenty of wood. We also loved the spa bath, candies, amenities kits, movies, marshmallows and the fresh, fluffy robes. The room was sparkling clean. It's in the best spot in town, within walking distance of the main attractions, cafés and specialty shops. We'll definitely be back for another getaway.

We loved being able to unwind in the secluded gardens and feel like there was nobody else around for miles, even though the place is right on Gallery Walk. Cafes, cellar doors and little shops are just metres away, and the place had everything we needed to relax. Highly recommend it as an escape. One thing to know: when we visited during the week, there wasn't much open for dinner within walking distance. There are plenty of great restaurants a short drive away, though, and some nights we were so full from the day's good food that cheese from down the road was all we wanted. I'm not sure what dinner options are like on weekends.
