I was surprised by how well laid out and clean the room was for its size. I’ve never been this pleased with a room before. We only stayed one night, but I’d definitely recommend it.

A young man welcomed us with a smile and lots of suggestions for places to go and things to see. We had a lovely swim in the pool, and the room was large and very clean, with updated tables and chairs inside and outside, plus a guest chair to relax in. The bed was comfortable, and I liked having more than one mirror. It had the usual fridge, microwave and kettle. The large bathroom was clean and tidy, and the range of lovely shower products was a great touch. A flexible shower head would be a nice little update, but not much else needs attention. I’d stay here again, and you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve stayed here twice on trips from Brisbane and plan to keep coming back when we can. The rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable, and the sparkling pool is perfect for a refreshing swim. Maclean itself is a beautiful town.

Max arranged our booking and greeted us when we arrived. He was such a pleasant, helpful lad. The room was immaculate, with a comfy bed, lovely white towels, and coffee, tea and biscuits. We could see the River from our room, and the area was peaceful and quiet. Thanks, Max, for all your help.

The motel has been renovated, and they’ve done a fantastic job. Everything feels lovely and well thought out. What a great stay. I’d happily come back again and again!
