Philip made the trip memorable, helping us out and sharing advice in every way he could. He’s such a gracious, interesting, knowledgeable host. The continental breakfast was delicious and generous, and the room was attractive and comfortable, with a nice shared bathroom and access to a big common area. The B&B sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Horseshoe Bay area, among lovely gardens and beautiful birds. A truly outstanding stay.

Griffin is a sweetheart ❤️ The gardens, pool and wide verandah are beautiful, and we had a bedroom in the main house with a shared bathroom. There’s a lounge with a TV, though we were too busy exploring to use it. Philip knows the island and its attractions well, and kindly picked us up from and dropped us back at the ferry. Breakfast was great before our hike, and the stay was good value with lovely service. The nearby bus is an affordable way to see the island, with unlimited daily rides for under $5 per person.

Phil showed us around some lovely local spots, including the butterfly walk, gorgeous beaches and a quiet lagoon full of water birds. His free-ranging hens lay fresh eggs every day too. If I return, I’ll definitely stay here again.

We’d happily come back. Phil knows the area inside out and went out of his way to help us make the most of our visit. The family room at the back was spacious and excellent, and breakfast was 10/10. The kids loved feeding the chooks and collecting their eggs in the morning. Phil and Griffin the dog are wonderful hosts.

Philipp took great care of us and showed us some of the island’s best spots. We had a lovely two-night stay and the breakfast was generous, with plenty to get the day started. It suited us perfectly, and I’d recommend staying here for a few days.
