We found plenty to do outdoors, with marine life to explore in the cove even with just a snorkel, and activities to keep the younger and older kids occupied away from screens. The Beach House at Arthur Bay gave our family one of our most relaxing and indulgent holidays. It has a secluded beachfront view over a beautiful cove, and the fully stocked gourmet kitchen made it a pleasure to cook, BBQ and eat while listening to the waves. A kookaburra visited now and then, and the living room built around a large rock formation is dramatic. It's a one of a kind property and a wonderful place for a family or group to spend time together.

The setting is fantastic: the beach, coral reef and isolation are hard to beat. But the house and many of its facilities need a lot of work. The road in is a goat track, the sliding doors won't slide, and the air cons weren't working. It comes across as though someone with plenty of money bought it because they could, and doesn't care about it. This turned what could have been a holiday of a lifetime into something that should have been much better. There are far better value options on the island.

What an amazing, relaxing place, with a private beach and its own reef just metres away. It's well appointed and can sleep lots of people. We'll definitely be back.

We loved having the whole private bay to ourselves, from sunset until sunrise. Awesome place, and we'll definitely come back!

The saltwater pool was a nice place to unwind when we didn't feel like going to the beach. There's a great reef down the path, and kookaburras and other birds hang around the house. Amazing place.
