The sunset bath with a glass of wine was a real highlight, and the friendly wallabies and possums kept us entertained. The cabin was spotless and beautifully presented. We felt tucked away in the bush, almost as if we were the only people there. The hosts were fantastic and happy to help with anything. We stayed 13-15 Mar 2026 and will definitely be back.

Our mornings started with a special sunrise after the waterfall trail walk, and we loved feeding Skippy, who was adorable and very keen to eat. The Cottage was peaceful from the moment we arrived. We spent plenty of time in the plunge pool and outdoor bathtub, then toasted marshmallows by the fire at night. Two nights went by too quickly, and we wished we could have stayed longer. One of the best family experiences we’ve had, highly recommend.

We loved the trails, plunge pool, fire pit, outdoor tub, and kangaroos at The Cottage at Carawirry. Heather, thank you for everything you did to make this such a spectacular getaway. It’s the most wonderful cabin and the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. We could happily have stayed longer, maybe forever.

We loved having coffee on the deck, listening to the trees and exploring nearby. The Treehouse was cozy and thoughtfully set up, and the quiet natural surroundings made it easy to unwind. It was a relaxing, fun and refreshing weekend escape, and we’d love to come back. A huge thanks to Heather and her family for being so helpful and making our stay as beautiful as possible.
