First, a huge thank you to the woman who came out at 2am when I locked myself out after going to pick up my husband from a shoot he was filming in Maleny. She was so lovely and didn’t show any impatience or anger, even though I’d disturbed her sleep at such an ungodly hour. I’m so sorry again, and hope you got back to sleep. Thank you, M+C. The accommodation was lovely, clean and private, with a good shower and a quiet, clean outdoor patio. The milk came in a glass bottle, which is rare these days, and there was coffee, tea, and pods to use. The location is exceptional, right at one end of the main street, with cafes nearby. There’s a great Indian shop diagonally across the road and an interesting health and healing shop directly opposite, with products, remedies, and the NEXUS magazine. The Old Church also runs an Auyvedic shop at reception with its own health and healing products. One downside: the Queen rooms are down a flight of stairs, which could make access difficult for disabled or elderly guests. There are larger rooms on one level for easier access. We’d stay again in a heartbeat if we’re in Maleny.

Terri was a pleasure to deal with, and The Old Church is in a great spot within walking distance of the main street. We had a lovely stay, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Mum and Dad had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Old Church for their 60th wedding anniversary. I wanted to have a hamper delivered to their room, and Terri was so helpful while I figured out how to arrange it. She set it out nicely on the table and even picked flowers from her garden. Thank you from me and my brothers.

We’re always made to feel comfortable and have a very enjoyable stay. Terri and Max are helpful, provide excellent customer service, and never make anything feel like too much trouble. Booking, check-in, and check-out are all excellent, and it’s great value for money. The Old Church at Maleny is the best accommodation we’ve stayed in.
