I never stayed at this motel. I booked, then had to change my travel dates and cancelled on the same day I made the booking. The website said cancellation was free. I've tried contacting the owners several times and left messages, but got no reply. They refused to return my money, so I've taken further steps to recover it and my bank is disputing the charge on my behalf. I found the owners rude over the phone and believe they acted fraudulently. Stay away, especially from the owners. I'm concerned they'll take your card details and charge you.

At $125, this was far too much for a room with no hot water and a TV that didn't work. Reception never answered, the phone was always engaged, and I got no reply to my email either. I checked out early and there was nobody available to discuss the problems. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this motel.

I've stayed here twice and would definitely come back. The sites were clean and looked after, and I really liked the pool, the freedom to relax around it, and how professional the staff were. I can't think of a reason to take off a star.

Absolutely rude, and not worth the $180 being asked. This is one of the worst places I've stayed in Airlie Beach. I can't recommend it.
