Manilla Cottage - Manilla NSW

Being able to walk to the river each morning for a swim with our dog was a real plus. The cottage is pet-friendly, with a big fenced yard, and our dog could come inside too. It’s an older-style place, but clean and comfortable, with linen, toiletries and washing-up detergent provided. The owners communicated clearly and promptly while we were booking. Shops, pubs and cafes on the Main Street are within walking distance, and there’s plenty to do a short drive away, including Tamworth and the surrounding area. The volunteers at the Manilla Visitor Information Centre were lovely and had lots of ideas for things to do.

We had nothing to complain about. The house was spotless, with a freshener running, comfortable beds and couch, and air-conditioning. The shower had good pressure, a wide spray and lots of hot water. The kitchen appliances all worked, there were two toilets, and the modern TV had Netflix and Stan. It’s very close to Manilla CBD.

The yard suited my dog, and the lawns had just been mowed. It’s close to Manilla's main street, with the parks and river an easy walk away. The cottage was very clean and had what I needed for either a short or longer stay. The furniture is older but comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and enough room for a family or larger group. One small thing, I prefer a top sheet on the bed, especially in summer. The doona was far too hot, but luckily I had a clean old sheet with me. Thanks for having the A/C on when I arrived on a very hot afternoon. The house was lovely and cool, and I’d stay again and recommend it to friends.

We were there for work, so while I went into Tamworth my family could spend time at the local fishing spots and parks. It’s a quiet area, not far from town and easy to get to, and the location worked really well for our small family to relax. The air-conditioning was a lifesaver on frosty mornings. Great water pressure too, and the hot water was instant. Can't wait to visit again.
